First thing's first. Let's make sure you're using the latest and greatest card, which, did you notice, now features contactless technology, of course, when it's activated. How? Double-check that your card has the icon that looks like a sideways Wi-Fi symbol right above the card number. And make sure it looks like this, not this. This is the oldie. Let's get rid of it.

Now let's see how it works. Once you are ready to pay, get close to the point-of-sale machine, look for the contactless icon, tap your card, and you're done. It's that easy. Just tap and pay, and be on your way. Your secure transaction is complete, totally safe, totally secure.

Your card transmits a one-time code to the merchant that is only good for that transaction. Keep in mind some merchants may still ask you to sign or enter your PIN based on their security measures in place and how they are routing transactions.

Now that you know how to use your contactless card, you can use it anywhere the merchant has the Tap and Go technology in place. It's a fast, easy, secure way to pay.
